居然被个常用词难住了：尖的，英文是？

指那种象针一样，锥形，尖锐的。
sharp应该不贴切，这主要指锋利。
pointed, 似乎也不准确。

查了下词典，有个cuspate，但注明了（extremely rare)。
再查，有个acuate，和acute，但都很罕见啊（可能我读书少）
越查越糊涂，哪个才正宗？

我想到的不是pointed 而是pointy

哦。个人赶脚，名词+ED作ADJ多作定语置于名词前，不太习惯完全将之作ADJ使用。例如，非常尖， 说very pointed 似乎不太正宗？

英文与中文并非一一对应的，比如楼上说的，尖头皮鞋就是pointed-toe。pointed用的是比较多代表尖的，但也不是绝对的。
词语这种自然产生的东西，一定看上下文。

taper比较恰当吧
