I did take a huge risk with this one, as upon ordering I saw a youtube video that says this card ran Hot and Loud! However, for those of you on the fence with this card, it is the lowest priced card right now of the 5700 XT. I say get it. Yes it does run hot and loud at stock settings! But I noticed that this card was Overclocked and overvolted from the factory! If you change the speed to the stock rated 1905 mhz, adjust the max voltage to .999 mv using globalwattman (AMD's provided driver) and adjust the fan curve accordingly, to keep the fan at or under 50%. The card stays cool at 67 degrees C all day and very quiet as it never gets hot enough for the fan to kick in at even 50% even at full load playing Red Dead 2 on Max Ultra Settings, with get this, NO NOTICEABLE DROP IN PERFORMANCE OR STABILITY AT THE LOWER VOLTAGE!! At this price point, it is a steal, anyone that says otherwise has very little knowledge with how AMD are notorious for overvolting their cards and how these cards were designed to be efficient. or they were probably paid by Nvidia.
Also this thing is WAYYYYYY overclocked. The max boost on factory default settings for my card is 2129 Mhz NOT 1905 Mhz. This is a big part of why is runs so hot and if i boost fan curve to 100% (loud as can be though) it maintains an average clock of about 2020 Mhz.
