Jin Young Park (Korean, born January 13, 1972) also known as JY Park (or simply JYP) is a South Korean singer, songwriter, record producer and the current CEO/founder of JYP Entertainment, a major artist management/record label of Asian pop music. Over the past 14 years, JY Park has not only become one of Asia's most prominent musician, but has also become the pioneer and innovative leader of the entertainment business in Asia.

JY Park has released 7 no. 1 solo albums. He debutted with his album "Blue City" in 1994, which was followed by his third album "Summer Jingle Bell" (1997)(which featured the best-selling hit song "She Was Pretty"

, his fourth album "Even After 10 Years" (1998)(featuring the song "Honey"

and his seventh album "Back To Stage" (2007)(featuring the song "Kiss"

While maintaining his status as a successful artist, he has also composed and produced over 31 no. 1 singles and 25 no. 1 albums throughout Asia, including Rain and Wonder Girls in Korea, F4 and Jacky Cheung in Taiwan, and SMAP and A1 in Japan. JY Park also became the first Asian producer to successfully cross over to the U.S., producing music for Will Smith, Mase and Cassie. And in May of 2008, JY Park collaborated with Jackie Chan to form the "I Love Asia" Project, prompted by the earthquake tragedy in China. As one of his many skills as a successful music entrepreneur, JYP also boasts a very polished command of English, as evidenced by the various interviews he has conducted in the U.S.[2][3].
